The Host Wildcards for China Smash, presented by Zhonghui Life Insurance, are confirmed, intensifying an already star-studded lineup.

All eyes will be on Lin Gaoyuan and Lin Shidong as they reunite in Men’s Doubles, seeking redemption. In 2023, they won two WTT Series titles and defeated top players Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin, but a shocking final loss left them with unfinished business. After a quarterfinal finish in Doha this year, they’re back with something to prove in Beijing.

In Women’s Doubles, the highly anticipated pairing of Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi will debut at a WTT event, leaving behind their singles rivalry to join forces. Their first appearance as a duo promises to be one of the event’s highlights.

Rising talent Shi Xunyao will compete in the Women’s Singles main draw, aiming to make her mark on the WTT Grand Smash stage after her recent success in 2023. Likewise, Men’s Singles wildcard Xiang Peng is one to watch, following his WTT Feeder Olomouc 2024 triumph. He’s poised to challenge the world’s best, hoping to capitalize on his recent form.
